I've received thousands of e-mails regarding the publication of Leaving the Saints, including over 2,000 responses from people who have reported their experience of being sexually abused. If this book has helped even one person in this situation feel less abandoned and isolated, it has been worth everything.

I wish I had time to answer each communication, but unfortunately, it just isn't possible. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to those of you who have shared your own stories, and who have reached out to offer support. Your words mean so much to me.
